Seven Pearls Foundation Life Member Gospel Luncheon

Celebrating Member Commitment While Enhancing the Organization’s Stability

(OXON HILL, MARYLAND – April 11, 2014) The Seven Pearls Foundation of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. will hold a Gospel Luncheon for Life Members on Monday, July 21st at the Biennial Boule at the National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland. The luncheon will honor and celebrate Life Members’ dedication to the organization, commemorating their commitment to providing the sorority with greater service for greater progress over 10 or more years. The celebration will commence at 12:30 pm with guests enjoying live performances by featured musicians, The Gospelaires of Enfield and Saxophonist, Ivery Johnson, Jr.

Funds raised from ticket sales are set to be used to offset current mortgage costs for the organization’s International Corporate Headquarters. Paying off the mortgage is key to the sorority’s sustainability plan and will better position the organization to continue future community service initiatives. Tickets may be purchased online at www.sevenpearls.org at the events page.

The Seven Pearls Foundation focuses on enhancing communities by unlocking resources, thinking progressively and remaining committed to service, while building a greater sense of stability for the sorority’s future. In order to preserve its vision for positive interaction, community service remains the forefront of reaching the masses and helping those most in need. As a result, the foundation will continue to strive to fulfill its mission through skillful execution and willingness to remain on the competitive edge, making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Sponsors, partners, media outlets, and volunteers interested in participating in the Gospel Luncheon, may contact Felicia D. Blakeney, Coordinator of Media Relations at mediarelations@sevenpearls.org. Donations towards the cause are tax deductible and can be forwarded to Seven Pearls Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 3055, Cary, North Carolina 27513. Together we will make a difference. For more information, please visit www.sevenpearls.org.

Inaugural Events 2013

Inaugural Event Participation

January 21, 2013

Grand Basileus Bonita Herring, First Grand Anti-Basileus Deborah Catchings-Smith, Executive Director Rachael Morris, Seven Pearls President Dr. Mynora J. Bryant  and sorors across the country attended the swearing in ceremony of President Barack Obama.

The theme of the 57th Presidential Inauguration was Faith in America’s Future. This theme honors our country’s perseverance, as well as celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Statue of Freedom being place on top of the U.S. Capitol’s dome. The Inauguration Ceremonies consisted of a Ceremonial Swearing-In Ceremony and an Inaugural Parade.

It was a great opportunity for the Seven Pearls Foundation to witness history in the making!
